Beware of Generic Birth Control Pill Ocella

Comments Off

A 22-year-old woman who was taking Ocella, a generic version of the birth control pill Yasmin, recently suffered a stroke due to taking the drug. More information on this developing case will be available soon.

Since most women who take this drug tend to be on the younger side, it’s difficult for many of them to ascertain if they’re likely to fall prey to a stroke. It’s important for anyone taking this drug, and for those who also choose to continue taking it, to make sure they let their doctors know of any changes in health, whether one considers the change small or significant.

If you or anyone you know has recently switched from Yasmin to Ocella or has just been prescribed Ocella, and you’ve experienced any type of side effects, contact the doctor who prescribed the drug to you and/or get in touch with an attorney, in order to protect your rights as a consumer.

For more information, contact Helen Zukin.
